Star Trek: Legacy could answer some very important questions about the new USS Enterprise-G if the series is greenlit. Legacy is the proposed spin-off of Star Trek: Picard, set up by Picard's series finale which wrapped up the story of Star Trek: The Next Generation's cast while paving the way for other characters to take the franchise forward into the 25th century. These characters mostly include the crew of the new Enterprise-G, which was rechristened from the USS Titan-A to honor Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and his crew after they saved Starfleet from the Borg.
Star Trek: Picard's finale briefly revealed that the Enterprise-G would be helmed by the newly-promoted Captain Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan), with Commander Raffi Muskier (Michelle Hurd) serving as First Officer and Ensign Jack Crusher (Ed Speleers) advising in a unique role as Special Counselor to the Captain. Sidney La Forge (Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut) was also in her familiar position at the ship's helm as they prepared to leave spacedock. However, the finale opened up a long list of questions that Star Trek: Legacy needs to answer about the Enterprise-G, her crew, and any loose ends from what they experienced during Star Trek: Picard season 3.
