Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 3Star Trek: Picard season 3 passed the torch to the 'next next generation' but few of the offspring of Star Trek: The Next Generation's legends have met. Set in 2401, Star Trek: Picard reunited the crew of the USS Enterprise-D over 20 years after their last adventure together, Star Trek: Nemesis. In those two decades, many of TNG's iconic characters became parents including, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), who didn't know he had an adult son, Jack Crusher (Ed Speleers), with Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden).
Star Trek: The Next Generation began with Dr. Crusher already a parent. Her son, Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton), was a boy genius who eventually joined Starfleet before becoming one of the cosmic beings known as the Travelers. Lt. Worf 's (Michael Dorn) young son Alexander Rozhenko aged into adulthood throughout Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Star Trek: Picard season 1 revealed Dahj and Soji Asha (Isa Briones) were synthetic twins built from the positronic neuron of Commander Data (Brent Spiner), making them his daughters after a fashion. The young Romulan warrior Elnor (Evan Evagora) was also a surrogate son to Admiral Picard. Star Trek: Picard season 3 introduced more TNG kids whose stories can be explored further in the proposed Picard spinoff, Star Trek: Legacy.
