Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 1 is coming to Pluto TV. The hit Star Trek prequel series premiered in May 2022 to widespread critical and fan acclaim. Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, who commands the USS Enterprise on a new five-year mission of exploration alongside his Number One, Lt. Commander Una Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn) and Lt. Spock (Ethan Peck). Celia Rose Gooding, Jess Bush, Babs Olusanmokun, Christina Chong, Melissa Navia, and Bruce Horak round out Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' season 1 cast.
As announced by Deadline, Pluto TV, which is owned by Paramount Global, will stream Strange New Worlds season 1 on its free service beginning Thursday, April 20th. For 30 days, the full Strange New Worlds season 1 will be available during primetime on Pluto TV's Paramount+ Picks channel. Other Paramount+ series in this initiative include Mike Judge’s Beavis & Butt-Head, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and iCarly. In addition, the season 2 premiere of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be available to stream on Pluto TV for one week following its premiere on Paramount+ on June 15th.
