In flashback scenes from "No Win Scenario", Jean-Luc is interrupted by a group of eager young Starfleet officers while he's having lunch at Ten Forward. Despite the risk of his haddock going cold, Jean-Luc regales his audience with tales of his adventures, including the surprising story of his encounter with a Hirogen, the alien hunter species that regularly clashed with Captain Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) and the crew of the USS Voyager.
The Hirogen were a nomadic species of hunters, and their nomadic nature meant that no home world was ever confirmed in Star Trek canon. However, they're likely native to the Delta Quadrant, as this is where they conducted their hunt when Janeway and the Voyager crew first encountered them in Star Trek: Voyager season 4, episode 14, "Message in a Bottle". Now, Star Trek: Picard season 3 has confirmed that at least one Hirogen had made it to the Alpha Quadrant, seeking out Jean-Luc Picard as their prey.
