Warning: SPOILERS For Star Trek: Picard season 3The proposed Star Trek: Picard spin-off, Star Trek: Legacy, would be the perfect chance for Q's forgotten son to meet Jack Crusher (Ed Speleers). Since his introduction in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Q (John de Lancie) has become one of Star Trek's most iconic recurring characters, appearing in multiple projects including Picard's final two seasons. After supposedly dying at the end of Picard season 2, the post-credit scene in the series finale revealed that Q is somehow still alive and has set his sights on Jack Crusher to continue the trial of humanity that Q began with Jack's father, Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart).
While Q is known mainly as a TNG character, he also made quite a few appearances on Star Trek: Voyager, where he actually fathered a child in an effort to stop a civil war that was ravaging the Q Continuum. Q Junior (Keegan de Lancie) appeared in two episodes of Voyager after his birth, most notably as an adolescent after Q sent him to learn some discipline from Voyager's crew in season 7, episode 19, "Q2". Sadly, Q's son seems to have been forgotten by the franchise and hasn't been seen since Voyager season 7, but that could change if Star Trek: Legacy is greenlit.
