Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Finale – "The Last Generation"Star Trek: Picard season 3's finale introduced the 25th century's President of the United Federation of Planets, and it's a perfect tribute both to Star Trek: The Original Series and J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movies. "The Last Generation" is a heartfelt sendoff to Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation that features appearances by the Borg Queen (Alice Krige), Captain Tuvok (Tim Russ), and even Q (John de Lancie) makes a shocking appearance in the Picard finale's end-credits scene.
However, the opening cameo of Star Trek: Picard's series finale is just as much of a jaw-dropper as Q's comeback at the very end. When "The Last Generation" begins, Picard and his crew are racing to save Earth aboard the refurbished USS Enterprise-D. The threat facing them is the entire Starfleet armada, which has been assimilated by the Borg with the help of the Changelings from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The USS Titan-A is absorbed in the assimilated Starfleet's Borg-like Fleet Formation, with Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) leading the remaining crew to retake the ship. The Enterprise-D's situation is dire, but a voice from the past lends a bit of hope.
