Warning: SPOILERS For Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Episode 8 – "Surrender" There's a lot that's still unknown about the Changelings' plan for both Jack Crusher (Ed Speelers) and the corpse of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) in Star Trek: Picard season 3, but episode 8, "Surrender," provides some further explanation for their intentions. Jack finally comes face to face with Captain Vadic (Amanda Plummer), who talks "in batsh*t circles" about why exactly the Changelings need Jack's "gifts" for their plot against the United Federation of Planets. Meanwhile, aboard the Shrike, Captain Worf (Michael Dorn) and Commander Raffi Musiker (Michelle Hurd) have discovered the body of Jean-Luc, as well as information on what has been taken from the body and encrypted data as to why it was needed.
By the end of Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 8, the entire cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation is finally reunited to discuss their options. With Frontier Day only hours away, Captain William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) notes that "we've got almost no answers." The data from the Shrike is still being analyzed and the returning Counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) sits down with Jack to get to the bottom of his visions, so those answers will surely follow in the next episode. Until then, here's everything that's known so far about the Changelings' plot for Jack Crusher and the corpse of Jean-Luc Picard.
