WARNING: This article contains SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Episode 6 – "The Bounty".Captain Vadic (Amanda Plummer) broke the biggest Changeling rule in Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 6 – "The Bounty." As one of Picard's new evolved Changelings, Vadic is presumably bound by the same laws set by the Founders in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. However, she is also part of the rogue faction that has departed from the reformation of the Great Link led by DS9's Odo (Rene Auberjonois) after the end of the Dominion War.
With Frontier Day approaching, Vadic is increasingly desperate to capture Jack Crusher (Ed Speelers) in Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 6. Vadic goes to extreme lengths to gain an advantage against Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), capturing both Captain William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Deanna Troi-Riker (Marina Sirtis) in the hope of gaining valuable information from them. Vadic's plan isn't approved by her Changeling crew, however, and her response to this dissent breaks the biggest law of the Changeling Founders.
