WARNING: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 2, "Disengage."The USS Titan-A is the target of a never-before-seen starship attack in Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 2, "Disengage." Harboring the fugitive Jack Crusher (Ed Speelers) put the Titan in the crosshairs of the Shrike, the fearsome starship commanded by Captain Vadic (Amanda Plummer). Picard episode 2 reveals that Vadic has been chasing Jack and his mother, Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) for weeks before they eventually sought help from Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart).
Furious that Picard has put his ship and crew in danger, Captain Liam Shaw (Todd Stashwick) eventually agreed to protect Jack from Vadic when it became clear that Crusher is the son of Jean-Luc and Beverly. In their initial confrontation with Vadic, the mysterious adversary gives Shaw and Picard one hour to hand over Beverly Crusher's son. As a show of the Shrike's strength, Vadic does something that has never been seen before in the long history of Star Trek space battles. It's a shocking display of the Shrike's destructive power that demonstrates just how outgunned the Titan may be in Star Trek: Picard season 3.
